Advoco Software announces partnership with Acme Packet and IPnett

Advoco Software, the leading provider of fixed mobile convergence solutions in the IP centrex world, is pleased to announce a
partnership with Acme Packet and IPnett.

Stockholm-based Advoco Software has selected Acme Packet and IPnett to deliver the session border controllers for its subsidiary service company Arcstel’s growing network. Advoco Software develops and delivers a converged IP service platform, Advoco
NetPBX™, targeting service providers on the enterprise telephony service market. There is now a growing demand for its fixed-
mobile conversion (FMC) centric system, from Arcstel and the service providers connected to the white-labeled Arcstel service.
Deployment of Acme Packet’s session border controllers in the Arcstel hosting environment will enable stronger growth, better stability and enhanced quality for all users and service providers linked to the service. As more and more people wish to be able to use both
fixed phones and mobiles as extensions in their enterprise telephony systems, Arcstel’s system is growing, both in size as well as in complexity. The introduction of Acme Packet SBCs into this environment will guarantee much better stability and compatibility in this environment. Advoco has chosen Acme Packet as having the strongest products on the market for this type of highly flexible system.

“As we have found Acme Packet and IpNett to have both market leading products as well as a very service-oriented approach to companies such as Advoco and Arcstel, it feels like a very good match for us” says Advoco’s CEO Richard McHugh. “Our fixed-mobile integrated systems require exceptionally good infrastructure as the market demand for converged services continues to grow, and
Acme Packet fits that bill perfectly. By adding Acme Packet technology to our platform we will be able to scale with security and
improve our offering of integrating mobile and fixed phones with new, state-of-the-art, functionality.” he concludes.

“"We’re finding requests for good Fixed-Mobile Convergence solutions in more and more of the enterprise markets where we’re active.” Says Seamus Hourihan at Acme Packet. “ We’re very happy that Advoco have selected Acme Packet to provide the Session Border Controller technology as they now grow this market both domestically as well as internationally. Secure integration between the central IP-PBX systems and the Internet is a critical component for all IP centrex and FMC solutions and I feel that our extensive experience in
this field will help Advoco grow even more than they have previously been able to."
